Wolves host the Lions for one night in this last weekend of the regular season. Score is 4-2 and the Lions call a time out at 5:56 in the first quarter. Lions come back strong and get the next 2 baskets. NWP's #15 Paige Snyder returns with another basket for the Wolves. Wolves come back and take the lead 11-8 at 2:35. 3 point shot from Ambrose's #5 Makenna Yeung and the Lions take the lead. NWPs #20 Raylene Badger with hits her 500th career point! Wolves trail the Lions by 2 at the end of the first, score 15-13.

Second quarter and the Wolves take the lead. Time out is called when Ambrose ties it up 19-19. Lions take a 1 point lead. Time out is called by NWP. Lions make it 24-20, a free throw for NWP and #09 Alex Mills gets NWP to 21 points. NWP #6, Abby Crown hits a deep three, bringing the score to 26-28 in favor of the Lions. Lions #5 Makenna Yeung answers back with a quick two. An exciting second quarter ends with Lions in the lead 31-30.

Third quarter and NWP's #20 Raylene Badger gets the first free throw and ties it up for the Wolves, score 31-31. Wolves #15 Paige Snyder gets the basket to take the lead 33-31. Ambrose #10 Lashae Newry with a nice basket and the Lions pull away with the lead. Wolves keep the pressure on but Lions keep a 5 point lead. Score 33-33 at 2:12 left in the 3rd. Score is 40-33 for Ambrose at the end of the 3rd

Fourth quarter action continues for this close game. Break away for NWP's # 6 Abby Crown and the Wolves fight to take the lead, score is 40-38 for Ambrose. Wolves take the lead with a basket from #15 Paige Snyder. Wolves keep the pressure with point for point play in this final quarter. Lions creep ahead by one and the score is 44-43 at 4:36. Ambrose calls a time out. Lions make it 48-43 and the Wolves call a timeout. Huge 3 pointer for NWP's #4 Gracie Reschke and the Wolves trail 46-50, in this last 1:38 of play. Lions #4 Markin Barkey gives the Lions 2 key points. The Wolves battle to take this home game. 11 seconds left and the Lions lead 52-48. Lions take the game with the final score 52-48.
