Lions Beat Medicine Hat at Home

In an electrifying matchup between the Ambrose Lions and the Medicine Hat Rattlers, the Lions roared to victory with a commanding performance on their home court in Calgary.

From the opening tip-off, the Lions established their dominance, building a substantial lead in the first quarter. With a remarkable offensive display, the Lions surged ahead to a commanding 26-6 lead by the end of the first period. However, the Rattlers refused to back down and staged a spirited comeback in the second quarter, outscoring the Lions 24-15. The third quarter witnessed intense back-and-forth action as both teams battled for control. Despite the Rattlers' efforts to chip away at the deficit, the Lions maintained their composure and extended their lead, entering the final quarter with a 58-44 advantage.

In the fourth and final quarter, the Lions showcased their defensive prowess, stifling the Rattlers' offense and limiting their scoring opportunities. With a balanced offensive performance and solid defensive stops, the Lions secured their victory, ultimately triumphing over the Rattlers with a final score of 72-54.

The lions will travel to Edmonont next weekend to take on NWP and NAIT.
