The Lethbridge College Kodiaks took care of business on the road, defeating the Olds College Broncos 83-38 to complete a weekend sweep at the Ralph Klein Centre on Saturday.

Hannah Helton turned in a dynamic performance for the Kodiaks (12-3) with a game-high 24 points along with three rebounds and three assists, while Tylee Perry added 12 points and five assists. Madison Barfuss was also a solid presence for Lethbridge College with nine points and seven rebounds.

On the other side, Nicole Farkas led the Broncos (1-15) with nine points and six rebounds, while Meghan Swartz added eight points and five rebounds, and Sway McMane posted eight points, four rebounds and three steals off the bench.

The first signs of separation came via a 9-0 Kodiaks run midway through the opening quarter to build a 21-9 lead through the opening 10 minutes, which they further built out to a 37-18 advantage by halftime. Helton ultimately put the game away in the third quarter, scoring 10 of her points in the frame to put the Kodiaks up 57-27 going into the fourth quarter.

From here, the Kodiaks will head home to battle the SAIT Trojans in a weekend doubleheader, while the Broncos will begin a weekend home-and-home with the St. Mary's University Lightning. Both matchups will tip off at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 2, and both will be available on ACACTV.ca, as well as on TELUS OptikTV channel 1998.
