Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves Basketball host the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder

The game gets underway as the CUE Thunder puts up the first points. CUE take an early lead in this afternoon matchup 12-9 as the Wolves call a timeout. As the 1st quarter ends the CUE Thunder lead 16-10. Into the 2ndquarter, the CUE Thunder continue to lead 20-10. Thunder calls a timeout. Coming out of the timeout, the Wolves find the basket. #15 Paige Snyder knocks it down for 2 for the Wolves. #1 Jaycee May sinks one from deep for the Thunder. Concordia's # 6 Jenna Rinsky goes 2 for 2 at the line. Hannah Mitchell goes 2 for 2 on the free throw for CUE.  Concordia lead the game at half 37-17.  

The second half begins as the Wolves present a strong offence to try and reel in the Thunder. #9 Alex Mills with a 3-pointer for the Wolves. The CUE Thunder lead the Wolves 60-35 after the 3rd quarter. Into the 4thquarter, Gracie Reschke throws down 3 for the Wolves. #7 Georgia Bowman gets a basic after a great drive. CUE #11 Rachel Harvey gets a nice rebound and finds the basket for 2, CUE leads 66-41 late in the fourth quarter. Wolves #5 Makayla Porteous with a 3-pointer, bringing the score to 67-44. CUE #3 Laurel van der Giessen goes 2 for 2 at the line.  

The game concludes with a CUE Victory 71-44
