Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves Basketball host the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder

The Wolves come out hot in the beginning of the 1st quarter as they lead the Thunder 10 – 4 in the first 4 minutes of play. Gracie Reschke Wolves #4 puts it down for 3. The Thunder call a timeout as their 4 points trail the Wolves 13. #24 Abigail Kramps of NWP goes 1-2 at the line coming back from the timeout. Jenna Rinsky of CUE Thunder goes 1-2 at the free throw line. The first quarter ends with the Wolves ahead 17-11. 

Shortly after the beginning of the 2nd quarter, NWP call a timeout. NWP's Alex Mills #9 goes 2-2 at the line. CUE take the lead 4:30 into the 2nd quarter 22-21. With 60 seconds left in the 2nd quarter the Wolves and Thunder see a 25 a-piece game. And as the 2nd quarter concludes the Thunder in the lead with 27 with the Wolves right behind at 25. 

3rd quarter gets underway, as the CUE extends their lead 35-28. The Wolves call a timeout 4 minutes into the quarter. Out of the timeout Concordia #11 Rachel Harvey gets the bucket. Thunder's #6 Jenna Rinsky to the line and goes 2-2. CUE calls for a timeout as they lead the game 39-30.  Alyssa Gallant #12 for the Wolves shoots a deep 3. The 3rd quarter concludes with the CUE Thunder leading the NWP Wolves 54-35. 

As the 4th quarter begins to wind down, the Wolves continue to put up good defence as the Thunder continue to square away their lead 60-37. CUE call a timeout with 3:40 left in the clock. Gracie Reschke goes 2 for 2. 

The game concludes in the with a CUE Thunder victory over the NWP Wolves 61-42.
