Eagles V. Thunder Women's Basketball

On January 11 , King's University Eagles women's basketball took on Concordia Thunder at The King's University Gym. 

With high anticipation, the Eagles and Thunder were ready to go head-to-head at 6 o'clock. 

In the first period, the jump ball was thrown out by the Eagles. In the beginning, Thunder took the lead with the Eagles quickly tying the score with great defense and many beautiful lay-ups. Thunder made many beautiful shots on the foul line and made many great three-pointers. The final score tied 20-20.

In the second period, Thunder led with great defense and the Eagles followed with great defense as well. Eagles and Thunder made many amazing passes throughout the period. The Eagles made many good rebound shots with the final score being 34 to 33 with the Eagles in the lead.

In the third period, great defense from both sides and great rebounds. Near the end of the period, the Eagles had fantastic defense and won 52-50.

 In the fourth period, beautiful lay-ups from both teams as well as defense. It was an intense period with the teams tying 67-67.

In the five minutes of overtime, both teams strived for the win with the Eagles snatching the win with a three pointer and great passes. The final score was 79-75.

 Periods won 0 for Concordia Thunder 

 Periods won 5 for TKU Eagles

With high liveliness in the gym's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in tonight's game.
