Kodiaks look to bounce back against the Huskies

Kodiaks left an indelible mark in the first quarter, they wasted no time in establishing their dominance, sprinting to an impressive 20-point lead, Kodiaks' #10, Kitawna Sparks, lit up the scoreboard with an outstanding performance, contributing 7 crucial points. Huskies' #21, Marijana, managed to put 2 points on the board. Huskies faced a continuous battle as the Kodiaks surged ahead. The Kodiaks finished the quarter with a commanding score of 28-6.

As the second quarter unfolded, the Huskies showed resilience, refusing to back down in their quest to close the gap against the Kodiaks. Kodiaks' #9, Courtney Deemter, emerged as a key contributor in the second quarter, adding 7 points to the scoreboard and further solidifying the home team's offensive prowess. Meanwhile, Huskies' #5, Awian Majok, demonstrated scoring prowess with 5 crucial points, leading the charge for the visitors. Despite the Huskies' efforts, the Kodiaks maintained control. The second quarter ended with the Kodiaks extending their lead, finishing with a score of 45-22.

The Kodiaks remained focused on preserving their advantage. The Huskies #11, Casey Gorieu, stepped up with a strong offensive effort, notching 7 crucial points. Kodiaks' #22, Jocelyn Neilson, made her presence felt in the quarter, contributing 5 valuable points to the team's tally. Despite the Huskies' efforts, the Kodiaks' solid defense and strategic execution allowed them to maintain their 20-point advantage. As the third quarter concluded, the score was 61-36 in favour of the Kodiaks. 

Heading into the last stretch of the game, the Kodiaks aimed to seal the victory on their home court, while the Huskies sought to muster a turnaround. Huskies' #21, Marijana Besic, emerged as the leading scorer for her team, displaying consistent offensive prowess throughout the game.  On the Kodiaks' side, #22 Jocelyn Neilson continued her standout performance. As the final quarter unfolded, the Kodiaks closed out the game with a flourish, extending their lead to finish with a resounding score of 82-40.
