Grande Prairie, AB November 18 – St. Mary’s University Lightning at Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves

STMU wins the tip off and gets an early 3-points. Wolves with a couple good attempts but cannot find the basket. STMU increase their lead 10-0 and Wolves call a time out. Wolves #6 Abby Crown finds #20 Raylene Badger, who puts it in for two points. STMU with a beautiful play gets them another two points. From deep, Wolves #4 Gracie Reschke with three-points. Wolves #6 Abby Crown with the nice lay-up. Abby follows up with a three-pointer for the Wolves. First quarter ends with STMU taking the lead 29-15 over the NWP Wolves. 

NWP Wolves #10 Sam Blum goes to the line for two and connects on one. STMU #6 Adit Deng with the lay-up.  STMU #11 Andria Stitt goes two for two at the line. NWP #13 Olivia Rozinksy connects on one at the line. STMU #8 with the swish to bring the second quarter 51 – 27 for the Lightning. 

#5 Jaida Wallis hits a deep three to start off the 2nd half for STMU. #6 Adit Deng heads to the line for two, bringing the score to 58-27. #6 Abby Crown hits another for the Wolves, the score now 58-29 for STMU. #15 Paige Snyder draws a foul and heads to the line for two, going one for two. #20 Raylene Badger hits a deep three after a great pass from #13 Olivia Rozinsky. With a quick steal, #20 Raylene Badger gets two from down low to bring the score to 63-37 for STMU to end the third.

STMU #11 Andria Stitt starts off the fourth quarter with a steal and a nice layup. #4 Gracie Reschke quickly answers back hitting a three, STMU calls a timeout with the score 67-40. #11 Andria Stitt gets another one for STMU, hitting a three and bringing the score to 72-42. #3 Jazmyn Kellogg quickly hits another three for STMU. #4 Gracie Reschke answers back from the corner with a three for the Wolves. STMU calls their second timeout with the score 77-45. #10 Samantha Blum comes out of the timeout hitting a three. #4 Jaiden Hansen answers back for STMU with a deep three. 

STMU takes the win with a score of 80-50.
