Lightning Fall to Kings in Tight Fourth Quarter

The Lightning and Kings game started with both teams exchanging basket for basket. Lightning #11 Andrea Stitt leaderships on the court pushed the Lighting into 8-0 run with Andrea hitting 2, three point shots. The Lightning ended the quarter up by 8 points. The second quarter proved to be no different with the Lightning and Kings continuing to battle back and forth. However, it was #19 Aneilia Ayotte who led her team with 13 points and closed the gap in the second quarter with the Lightning only increasing their lead by 1 point. This put the Lightning up by 9 to end the first half. The Lightning #11 Andrea Stitt led her team with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. While the Kings #19 Aneilia Ayotte led her team with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. The Lightning an Kings continued to battle into the third quarter with the Kings winning the quarter by 3 points making the Lightning up by only 6 points to end the third quarter of play. The Kings came out firing in the fourth quarter and Lightning responded with either team determined to come away with the win. However the kings fourth quarter had the Lightning unable to secure the win and the Kings won the game by 5 points, 73 to 68. The players of the game were #19 Aneilia Ayotte with 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 26 points, for the Lightning was #11 Andria Stitt with 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 24 points. The Lightning take on Nait on November 17th at 6pm.
