Ooks Dominate Against Wolves

On Saturday afternoon, the NAIT Ooks played Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves at the NAIT gymnasium

In the first quarter, Ooks had a slow start, and the Wolves had the lead with great shots from number ten Sam Blum. However, their lead was short, the Ooks began to dominate the court with fantastic three-point shots from number four Mikha Reed.

Ooks led the game 23-9 after the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Ooks continued to grow their lead with great drives by number zero Laila Wright. The Wolves continued to struggle and were left in foul trouble, as they tried to battle back.

Ooks led the game 50-23 after the second quarter.

In the third quarter, Ooks continued to dominate the game leaving the Wolves scrambling from Ooks great ball movement and outside shots from number fifteen Kalena Richardson. Wolves continued to attack the basket but could not gain any momentum.

Ooks led the game 74-32 after the third quarter.  

In the fourth quarter, the Wolves continued to struggle defensively against the Ooks' offensive plays, allowing the Ooks to grow their lead even more and win the game.

Ooks won the game 102-43
