In the home opener match for the Ambrose Women's Lions Basketball, the gym was loug and lively as they faced off against Lethbridge Kodiaks. The frist quarter was a clos eone with Ambrose trailing only by 10. The kodiaks picked things up as the match progressed and they came out on top. Some notable performances were from 11 - Hannah Helton with 19 points and from the lions was Marin Barkey and Ariana Dela Paz each with 10 points. Andrijana Bokan come out of the game with 11 rebounds. 
 
Ambrose takes on Red Deer Next saturday. Their Record going into next week is 1-2.
