NWP Wolves host King's Eagles

Second day of competition for the NWP Wolves and King's Eagles. Kings takes an early lead,  Kings player  #13 Megan Aleman makes a 3 point shot bringing the score to 11-5 for the Eagles. At 4:20 left in the quarter Kings #13 again get the lay up to bring the score to 15-5 for Kings. NWP calls a time out. NWP's #15 Paige Snyder makes a nice basket at 2:22 left. Kings take the first quarter 21-8.

Second quarter action continues with NWP grabbing 2 baskets. Kings dominate the play and lead 29-12 at 7:21 in the quarter. Kings #3 Jamie Bunting sneaks though the Wolves to make the basket. NWP # 24 Kim Talavera with a 3-pointer followed by a basket brings the Wolves to 17 points. Kings lead the Wolves 42-19 at the 2:00 minute mark. Kings #3 Jamie Bunting with another break away. Kings end the quarter 54 - 20.

Third quarter starts with four points for the Wolves. NWP calls a time out at 6:50 score is 62-24.  #5 Ella Majeau get a 3 pointer for Kings. Half way though the third quarter #13 Megan Aleman gets the two free throws score is 67-24. NWP's #6 Abby Crown steals the ball and makes the basket. Kings lead the quarter 73-28 after back to back baskets for #15 Jordana Rivet. Quarter ends 75-29 for the Eagles.

Fourth quarter sees a slower start with only 2 points made for the Kings. Score is 79-29 at the 7:00 minute mark. NWP's #10 Sam Blum makes one of her free throws, score 89-33 for Kings. Last two minutes of play for this weekend of games. Foul on Kings and NWP's #06 Abby Crown gets a point for the Wolves. Tough loss for the Wolves. Final Score 100-38
