Home opener for the NWP Wolves vs. the King's Eagles. Wolves take the first basket from NWP's #4 Gracie Reshcke to the delight of the bench and the crowd. Kings tie it up and take a 3-point lead, score is 9-6 in the first 6 minutes of play. 3 pointer from NWP's #5 Makayla Porteous ties the game up 9-9. Game is tight and NWP battles hard to take the lead but TKU sneaks away with an 8-point lead. Wolves coach Bill Bradley calls a time out at 1 minute left in the quarter. #5 Makayla Porteous goes to the line and sinks 2. Score is 22-13 for Kings after the first quarter.

Second quarter Eagles continue their lead. At 7:40 score is 27-13 for Kings. Wolves get a free throw at 5:48 and are unable to make the baskets. NWP's #4 Gracie Reshcke with a three pointer gives the Wolves 16 points. Kings's # 14 Kayla Soetaert makes her 2 free throw shots, Kings leads NWP 28-16, half way through the second quarter. NWP calls a time out with 2:50 left. NWP's #05 Makayla Porteous with her second 3 pointer of the night with 45 seconds remain in the quarter. Second ends with a score of 41-20 for the Eagles

In the third quarter Kings add 10 points to their lead in the first 4 minutes of play. Wolves continue to sub in players but are unable to find the basket. Free throws for TKU's #14 Kayla Soetaert and she get the 2 points. Kings remains ahead 57-20. 3 minutes remain and the NWP's #5 Makayla Porteous sticks 2 free throws. NWP's #13 Olivia Rozinsky with a break away and she makes the basket. Wolves trail the Eagles 63-26 in the end of the third quarter.

Final quarter of the Wolves home opener. Wolves battle to gain some points. Kings remains dominant and take the score to 75-29 in the first 4 minutes of play. Kings #15 Jordana Rivet with back-to-back points, Eagles remain in control of the game. Fourth quarter ends with a score of 92-37 for Kings
