Rustlers win exhibition game against RDP Queens

A preseason that's already featured excellent performances continued to see the Lakeland Rustlers women's basketball team impress on Friday night.

The squad hosted the RDP Queens in the first of two exhibition contests against the defending ACAC Champs, the RDP Queens. Lakeland got an early lead in the opening quarter and never let the game get to within a possession, winning 77-63. Heena Sidhu for RDP and Hailey Sommers for Lakeland were the Player's of the Game.

After tomorrow's afternoon tilt, the Rustlers will host the Briercrest Clippers on Oct. 5 and 6.
