Broncos top Rattlers 76-56 to close out the first half of the season

Playing their second game in two days against each other, the Olds College Broncos handed the host Medicine Hat College a 76-56 loss.  The Broncos came out quickly outscoring the Rattlers 20-14 in the first quarter.  The second quarter was closer but the Broncos led at half 38-29.  A big third quarter saw the Broncos extend their lead to 21 points.  The Rattlers kept battling but ultimately fell 76-56.  With the win, the Broncos moved to 5-5 on the season while the rattlers are still searching for their first win.  The Broncos were led by ACAC Player of the Game Rio Yamazaki who had 27 points and 10 rebounds.  Brynn Bremner was the player of the game for the Rattlers with 14 points and 3 rebounds.  Both teams will return to ACAC reghular season action in January.
