Lethbridge leaps past Briercrest for fifth place

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks ended their 2023-24 season on a high, defeating the Briercrest College Clippers in four sets (25-19, 23-25, 25-15, 25-22) to claim fifth place at the 2024 ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship in Olds.

ACAC South All-Conference outside Nolan Moes led the attack for the Kodiaks with 17 points (15 kills, two aces) to go with three digs, while Paul Dionne added 12 kills and seven digs of his own. Shaye Wall also got into double-figures with 11 points (10 kills, one ace) and seven digs, while Ben St. Pierre not only ran the offense with 44 assists, he also posted a team-high 15 digs.

In his final college game, ACAC South Player of the Year Karym Coleman again led the way for Briercrest with 15 points (14 kills, one block), while Jackson Anderson added 12 points (11 kills, one block) and eight digs, and Jeremy Martens kept pace in the setter spot with 35 assists and nine digs, second only to teammate Cole Johnson's 17 digs for Briercrest in the matchup.

Following the match, Dionne was named to the ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team.
