Lions top Rattlers in four sets

There was Friday night ACAC volleyball action in the Snake Pit as the Ambrose Lions took on the hometown Rattlers. Ambrose took the set 25-23, with stand-out performances from Mattew Clements and Nikita Marchenkov. Jordan McKee and Sawyer Krebs played well for the Rattlers.

In the second set, the Ambrose Lions Noah Verhoef, and Isaac Karstad put up five kills between the two of them. Landon Reiniger of the Medicine Hat College had a total of seven kills between in the first two sets. The Rattlers were able to take set two by the score of 25-23.

The Lions came out swinging and the third set 25-17, to go up two sets to one.

In the final set, the Rattlers battled hard but Ambrose took the tight set 26-24 and the match 3 sets to one.
