Trojans outlast Rattlers in five sets

It was an exciting match between the Medicine Hat College Rattlers and the SAIT Trojans. With a five set match, the snake pit had an exciting night of volleyball action. The first set ended with a score of 25-21 favouring the Trojans.

The SAIT Trojans, led by standout player Logan Williams, delivered an impressive display of skill. Williams led the way for the Trojans with 16 kills and 11 digs. His exceptional all-around performance played a pivotal role in keeping the Trojans competitive throughout the match. Dominic Soucie also contributed significantly with 10 digs, showcasing the Trojans' defensive power. The second set of the match ended with a score of 34-32 Rattlers.

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers had their own set of standout players who had a big impact on the game. Jordan McKee emerged as a powerhouse for the Rattlers, amassing an impressive 20 kills and 7 digs. McKee consistently found ways to score points for his team. The third set of the game ended with a score of 25-21, with the Rattlers falling to the Trojans.

Nathan Chernik, another key player for the Rattlers, also had a big night finishing with with an outstanding 20 kills and 10 digs. His ability to read the Trojans' plays and make crucial defensive stops played a big role in Medicine Hat College's success throughout the night. The Rattlers were able to force a fifth by winning with the fourth set 26-24 but ended up falling to the Trojans in the fifth set 16-14.

The Rattlers look towards February 2, 2024, when they are slated to play Ambrose University.
