Briercrest Clippers Sweep Ambrose Lions in Men's Volleyball Showdown

In an electrifying match-up between the Briercrest College Clippers and the Ambrose University Lions, the Clippers emerged victorious in a clean sweep, dominating all three sets with scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-19, respectively.

Set one saw both teams trading points in a tightly contested battle, with the Clippers managing to edge ahead and secure the set with a score of 25-22. The Lions fought valiantly but ultimately succumbed to the Clippers' relentless pressure. The momentum carried into the second set as the Clippers continued to display their offensive firepower, executing precise spikes and well-placed serves to maintain their lead. Despite a spirited effort from the Lions to stage a comeback, the Clippers maintained their composure and clinched the set 25-23.

Entering the third set with a commanding 2-0 lead, the Clippers remained focused and determined to close out the match. Their determination was evident as they surged ahead early, capitalizing on errors from the Lions while maintaining their own high level of play. With the finish line in sight, the Clippers intensified their efforts and sealed the deal with a convincing 25-19 victory in the final set. 

The third set included #11 Karym Coleman form the clippers breaking the all time record for kills in ACAC history. Both Kade Miller and Nikita Marchenkov from the lions had great matches, each with 10 kills. 

Both teams look ahead to tomorro where they will face each other again
