NWP Wolves Volleyball host the Briercrest Clippers
As the first set gets underway, the Wolves take the first point. With a last touch Wolves out-of-bounds call the Clippers lead the Wolves 6-4. #16 Jackson Anderson of the Clippers with an ace serve. The Wolves call a timeout. The Clipper lead the set 16-13. The Wolves call their second timeout of the set with the Clippers leading 21-16. The Wolves take a point coming out of the timeout. Carter Tuttle with an ace serve to bring the game 21-19. The set ends with the Clippers on top, 25 to the Wolves 23.
With the second set well underway, the Wolves lead the Clippers by one point, 6-5. The Clippers are out in front 15-13 as the Wolves stay right behind in a very close 2nd set. Carter Tuttle with a light touch to tie the game 16 apiece. The Wolves take the second set 25-23.
3rd set begins with Josh Dumont, Wolves #10 serving 2 aces back-to-back. Briercrest Clippers tie the game 5-5. The Wolves lead the Clippers 14-12. The Wolves continue to lead 21-15. The Wolves take a strong 3rd set, 25-20.
Set 4 starts off with Wolves #7 Logan Hladchuk getting a point for the Wolves. The Wolves put up a wall for the block an lead the set 5-2. The Wolves call a timeout as the Clippers take a 7-6 lead. With a few impressive rallies, the Wolves call timeout #2 while trailing the Clippers 11-8. The Briercrest Clippers lead the set 20-12. The Clippers take set #4 25-12.
Going into set five, the Clippers take the first point. The Clippers and the Wolves are keeping a tight game with the Clippers just out ahead 9-7. Coming back from a Wolves timeout, is #4 Kaden Bennett with the kill. The Clippers take the 5th set and the match 15-11.
