Men's Volleyball Huskies dispatch Lions in four sets

Fort McMurray, Alta. (November 17) - Ambrose University Lions 1 Keyano Huskies 3 (25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18)

The Keyano Huskies Men's Volleyball team overcame a tough third set to wrangle back momentum in their favour, earning a four-set victory against the visiting Ambrose University Lions Friday at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, AB.

Taking care of the first two sets, the Huskies built up what would be an insurmountable advantage, though the Lions fought back in the third set to prolong the match. Rafael Parada and Joao Cunha led the way offensively with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Nathan Luken led the team with nine digs, two ahead of Anderson King. Noah Gagné's 23 assists helped the Huskies offence roll along. 

On the visting side of the equation, Isaac Karstad led the Lions with four kills. Emmitt Juul-Hansen had a busy day with 17 digs and 25 assists. Matthew Clements contributed five digs in the loss. 

The Huskies will remain on the home court, hosting the Lethbridge College Kodiaks on Saturday evening while the Lions will head south to Lloydminster to challenge the Lakeland Rustlers.
