Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves host the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings
With game underway the Wolves take the first point. Never too far behind, the kings tie up the game 16-16. Getting a taste lead, the Kings take the score to 19-16 in their favor. With a big kill from Chad Morrison the NWP Wolves tie the game 19 apiece. Returning from an RDP timeout, the Kings regain their lead 21-20. Not letting up, the Wolves bring the set to 24-22 as the Kings call another timeout. Returning from timeout #2, the Wolves take the set 25-22.
Striking first, the Kings are first on the board in the second set. Logan Hladchuk brings the Wolves ahead 5-4 with an ace serve. RDP Kings extent their lead to 9-6 after an exciting rally. Returning from a Wolves timeout, the Wolves take the point. A an ace serve for RDP's Colby Nemeth brings the Kings lead to 15-9. After another NWP timeout, the Wolves take the point. The Kings take the set 25-16.
Trailing the RDP Kings early in the third set, the Wolves call an early timeout. Keeping the momentum set early on, the Kings lead the Wolves 11-6. Not letting up, the Kings continue to lead 19-14. Dominating set 3 the Kings take it 25-19.
Coming out strong in set 4, Justine Bigstone puts the Wolves on the board. With a big kill by Josh Dumont, the Wolves lead set 4, 5-2. Bringing it back to even, the Kings tie the game 7-7. Snatching the lead from the Wolves, the Kings move ahead 10-9. Coming back after a Wolves timeout, NWP ties the game 11-11. Wolves regain their lead with the score 14-12. With the Kings leading the game 19-15 the Wolves call a timeout. Unable to bring it back, the Wolves fall in the 4th set to the RDP Kings 25-20.
