Medicine Hat AB (Nov 3, 2023)- Keyano College 3 at Medicine Hat College 1 

In the home opener for Medicine Hat College, the Rattlers had a strong opening set against the Keyano College Huskies. Nathan Chernik led the Rattlers in kills putting up 13 in the first home season. Joao Cunha led the Huskies in kills with 12 in the match. It was a close first set with the Rattlers taking the set 25-23.  

In the second set, Noah Gagné led the match and the Huskies with 31 assists in total. Rattlers Keanen Hamilton led the home team in assists totaling up 25 throughout the match. Rattlers fell 25-19 in the second set against Keyano.  

Cayl Bos led the home team in solo stuff blocks totalling 10 in the opener. Huskies Noah Gagné led the team in solo stuff blocks totalling two in the match. Keyano College Huskies overpowered the home team in the third set, 25-14.  

Anderson King of the visiting team Keyano College Huskies led the match with ten digs. For the home team, Nathan Chernik led in digs putting up 4 in the match. The Rattlers were able to close the gap in the fourth set against the Huskies with the final set score of 25-22.  

In the opening weekend double-header, the Rattlers play at home tomorrow against Lakeland College "Rustlers". While Keyano College heads to Briercrest College.
