Fort McMurray, Alta. (October 27, 2023) - Concordia Thunder 0 at Keyano Huskies 3 (25-14, 25-13, 25-19)

The Keyano Huskies Men's Volleyball team continued their strong run to start the season with a straight-sets victory over the Concordia Thunder Friday at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta. 

The Brazillian trio of Joao Cunha, Athus Silva, and Rafael Parada combined for 30 of the Huskies' 37 kills in the match with Cunha leading the way at 14, followed by Silva with nine and Parada with the remaining seven. 

Anderson King collected a team-leading seven digs in the match, leading both sides while Noah Gagné racked up 30 assists in the victory. 

Logan Kranrod led the Thunder with seven kills while Kai Rosnau collected nine assists in the loss. 

The two sides are scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. rematch at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre Saturday afternoon.
