The GPRC Wolves hosted the Augustana Vikings in their season Home Opener. The first game in over 20 months, it was an exciting evening. We opened the night with a land acknowledgement, a prayer from GPRC Elder Teresea Gladue and the singing of O'Canada in Cree.

Wolves battle hard in the first set, however come up short 16:25.

Second set the Wolves get ahead early, 7:5. Vikings push hard to rally back and tie the game at 9 and then at 11. 2 aces for #3 Jonah Vander Leek put the Vikings up 16:13. Time out for the Wolves was called at 13:17. Vikings got on a roll and gathered up a few more points, winning 25:19 and taking a 2:0 lead.

The Vikings got ahead early in the third set. 7:4. The Wolves rallied back to make it 18:20. Wolves called a time out at 21:22. The Vikings finished the game 25:22. Wining 3:0

Player of the Game for Vikings was #9 Greg Kailel.

Player of the Game for the Wolves was #13 Corom Gregson.

Next game for the Wolves is Sunday November 14, 2021 in Camrose.

The Wolves would like to thank all the spectators who came out to support them tonight. The crowd was awesome.
