Kodiaks clash with Rattlers in the rain

The Rattlers opened the scoring early finding twine in the second minute, they would strike again in the 11^th with #8 Tata Mugisha putting one past the Kodiaks goalkeeper. The Kodiaks battled back fighting through the weather and kept play in the Rattlers end. They were finally able to break through in the 25^th minute when #7 Jacob Marshall scored off a great cross into the middle from #4 Keegan Bolton. The Rattlers come back to score soon after which saw #8 Tata Mugisha getting his second goal of the afternoon. After an eventful first half the Rattlers lead the Kodiaks by a score of 3-1

Both teams fought hard in the second half while the play stayed in the midfield for most of the second half with no team gaining an obvious advantage. The weather worsened leading both teams to adopt a more conservative playstyle. The Kodiaks were able to get within one on a penalty kick goal by #10 Brandon Francis in the 73^rd minute. The Rattlers would soon regain their two-goal lead with a penalty kick of their own which saw #14 De'Shaunt Gelinas-Cato get his first of the day. The Rattlers would hold on to their lead with a final score of 4-2.
