Kodiaks draw in a chippy match against the Ambrose Lions

Both teams came out hard which saw good chances from both sides. Plenty of fouls resulting in free kicks each way. Ambrose struck first with an outstanding forecheck on the Kodiaks defense resulting in a turnover that lead to #25 Travis Dolter putting one past the Kodiaks with the assist going to #17 Brady De Castro. The half ended with a score of 1-0 for Ambrose.

The Kodiaks turned it up in the second keeping Ambrose hemmed in their end for much of the half. The Lions played well defensively highlighted by a standout performance from their goalie #2 Nathan Yeung who made many stops to keep the Lions ahead. The Kodiaks were finally able to break through in the 88th minute when #10 Brandon Francis was able to crack to Lions defense. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
