The King's University Eagles played a dominant game during the first half. #14 Marcel Faude scored the first goal for the team off a corner kick, which was assisted by #23 Sheldon Prasad. Their second goal was scored by #15 Noah Bilodeau and assisted by #3 Jules Leggo once again a ball played into the 6yrd box. The Voyageurs fought to catch up and regain control of the game. Ultimately, the first half of the game ended with #20 Kieran Toussaint scoring back-to-back goals for the Eagles (assists by #14 Marcel Faude and #10 Brendan Spackman).
Going into the second half of the game, Portage College was facing an uphill battle as they had been shown a Red card in the first half for a double yellow card. They made several shot attempts, but the Eagles' keeper #26 Ethan Hrushka handled them well. #15 Noah Bilodeau and #8 Pablo Lugo netted two more goals for the Eagles, making the score 6-0. Portage broke the scoreline with a goal of their own-- a set piece that snuck around the wall and though the arms of the eagles keeper. The set piece was rifled by #3 Bjorn Goolie. With only 10 minutes left, the Eagles secured a win with the final score being 6-1.
