Men's Soccer Huskies shutdown Thunder

The Keyano College Huskies Men's Soccer team completed the six-point weekend by rolling to a 3-0 shutout of the visiting Concordia Thunder Sunday in Fort McMurray, Alta.

Corbin Cyprien earned the 10th regular season win of his Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and seventh shutout in the process.

On the goal-scoring front, the Huskies welcome the opening goal of the game in the 28th minute on a beautiful team up by Hafid Arellano to find Karl Tronche in the box with his cross pass. Into the 62nd minute, William Ly finished off a superb individual run up by Mario Morote to double the lead.

Closing things out, Aaron Ernst scored off a perfect feed from Tronche that Ernst gave just enough power to beat the goalkepeer.

From the Huskies, Tano Torchia earned Player of the Game honours for the Huskies while Josh Acevedo took the honours for the Thunder.
