Rattlers Add Three Goals in Last 15 Minutes for Win

The Ambrose Lions rolled into Medicine Hat for a Sunday afternoon game against the MHC Rattlers. The game started with MHC on the front foot and eventually got rewarded in the 9th minute with a goal from Jire Nzeyimana. The lead was short lived as the Lions equalized in the 17th minute on a goal by Ben Brouwer. The rest of the half was a battle between both teams but no more goals were had.

The second half was seemingly controlled by the Rattlers outshooting them 10-3 in the 2nd half. It wasn't until the last 15 minutes when the deadlock would be broken. Tata Mugisha scored in the 76th minute to take the lead for the Rattlers. The Rattlers extended their lead just three minutes later after a cross put in the penalty area was deflected into the Ambrose goal for an own goal. The exclamation point was put on the game when Joel Lehr scored in the 89th minute to seal a 4-1 game.

The Tiki Press Player of the Game for the Rattlers was Jire Nzeyimana and for the Lions was Ben Brouwer.
