NAIT Ooks Flew High Winning The Game Against The Voyageurs 9-0.

The NAIT Ooks battled the Portage College Voyageurs for the second time this season on their home turf at St. Albert Soccer Association. The Ooks won their first game 7-0 on Sept. 15, 2023. Following the steps of their women's team, the Ooks opened up the scoring with a fiery goal from #2 Chosen jones. Not letting up after their first goal, the Ooks scored again at the 11-minute mark with the would be player of the game #14 Marcus Sperling to increase their lead 2-0. Both teams can be seen putting up their best efforts from both sides of the field. #4 Felix Mutuyemungu for NAIT scored another one to extend their lead to 3-0. Before the teams finished the first half, a foul was called by the referee that resulted into a penalty kick that was put in by NAIT's #12 Javier Cassie to put his team on the driving seat 4-0 heading into half time.

Carrying their momentum from the first half, the NAIT Ooks did not wait any longer to add on to their lead, at the 49th minute of the game #13 Hossie Kifle scored a beautiful goal to make the score 5-0. Going for a back to back goal, at the 50th minute, #6 Jivan Aulakh scored another one for a 6-0 lead for the home team. On the other side, the Voyageurs are determined to put a goal in the net as they increase their offensive tenacity and put some pressure into NAIT's defense on the net and field. After an intense back and forth by both teams, another goal was put in by #16 Ivan Romanchak at the 76th minute mark. Good defense was put up by the Voyageurs as they successfully defended the net against a free kick from the Ooks. Another back to back goals were scored by #13 Hossie Kifle and #10 Alister Huang for the NAIT Ooks to finish the game.
