Ooks Fall to Keyano in Weekend Double Header.

Edmonton, AB - North division rivals NAIT and Keyano faced up again for the second day in a row at St. Albert Soccer's Association, Edmonton, AB.

Looking to bounce back from yesterday's loss and following the footsteps of their female counterparts, the Keyano Huskies #19 Clession Anklam scored the opening goal at the 4 minute mark of the game putting his team up 1-0 early on the game. Following the goal, the NAIT Ooks' had the chance to even up a score with a kick that just hit the top bar of the net. Both teams are really eager to get a headstart as they play to their strengths from both sides of the field. The game continues on with a couple of  great opportunity to score for the Huskies' #20 and #8 but NAIT's #1 goalkeeper made some great saves to keep everyone on their heels. On the other side #4 for NAIT also had the chance to put in a goal that was just off by a couple of inches. The tenacity of both teams really showed up heading into halftime with great efforts all around the field.

The second half of the game kicked off at a somewhat slower pace compared to the first, as both teams took a moment to evaluate the adjustments made during halftime. The match, just like the last one, was very physical, resulting in numerous fouls due to both teams' eagerness to find the back of the net. At the 84th minute of the game, Keyano Huskies' #22 scored a goal to extend their lead up to 2-0.

The players of the game are #25 Joey Lajoie for NAIT and #19 Clession Anklam for Keyano.
