SAIT Trojans tally yet another win against the RDP Kings

SAIT Trojans tally yet another win against the RDP Kings

From the opening whistle, the Trojans showed their intent. It took just seven minutes for the floodgates to open when #21 Rinor Hoxha found the back of the net, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

But the Trojans were far from finished. In the 27th minute, #17 Esrom Yohannes calmly converted a penalty kick, doubling their lead. Before the Kings could catch their breath, Hoxha struck again in the 28th minute, notching his second goal of the game.

The Kings' defense was struggling to contain the Trojans' relentless attack, and they conceded yet again in the 41st minute when #14 Senay Haile got in on the scoring action. The first half ended with #8 Taiyo Okawa extending the lead to 5-0 with a goal in the 45th minute, leaving the Kings with a mountain to climb.

The Trojans showed no signs of letting up in the second half. Rinor Hoxha completed his hat-trick in the 54th minute, and solidifying himself as the league's top points leader.

However, the Kings managed to pull one back in the 59th minute, as #10 Ajdin Sarcevic converted a penalty kick to break the clean sheet. It was a small consolation in what had been a difficult day for the Kings.

The Trojans didn't take their foot off the gas, and #9 Arash Mahjor put the icing on the cake with a goal in the 87th minute, sealing the emphatic 7-1 victory.

The Trojans' dominant display sends a clear message to their competitors in the league. With this level of performance, they will be a force to be reckoned with as the season unfolds as the reigning ACAC Champions look to take the banner once again.
