September 10, 2023: Lethbridge Kodiaks come out on top after a tight back-and-forth match against the Olds College Broncos 

The Olds College Broncos kept the Kodiaks fighting for possession as the play stayed in the Kodiaks half for much of the start of the game. Kodiaks keeper #1 Finn McCann made a great save off a shot by Broncos #19 Liam Parsons. The Broncos continued to keep the Kodiaks running, looking for an opening to score. Kodiaks #7 Jacob Marshall made a striking shot but Broncos keeper #30 Gabriel Janik came through with an amazing save. The half finished with a score of 0-0. 

Kodiaks start the second half on fire with the first goal of the game being scored by #7 Jacob Marshall with a diving header crossed into the middle by #8 Nikola Balijak. Broncos feel the pressure as time counts down, the intensity ramped up late in the game with Olds trying to even up the match. Kodiaks keeper #1 Finn McCann made multiple big saves late that ultimately saw the Kodiaks come out on top. The game finished with a final score of 1-0 for the Kodiaks.
