In the 32nd minute, Traverse had a golden opportunity to level the score when he sent a blistering shot toward the net, but Tanner Davidson-Sykes, the Voyagers' formidable goalkeeper, made a remarkable save, denying the Wolves their much-needed goal.

As the first half came to a close, the Voyagers maintained their slim lead. The Wolves were determined to turn the tide in the second half, and the fans were hopeful of a thrilling comeback.

The Wolves were determined to salvage some pride, and they finally found the back of the net in the 84th minute. A cleverly executed set piece led to a goal by the Wolves' star, Edison Traverse, who buried the ball in the bottom corner, making it 3-1.
