Eagles come from behind to earn 2-1 victory over Huskies

After losing out on earning three points thanks to a second-half strike Friday, The King's University Eagles used some late goal power of their own to secure a Saturday win, claiming a 2-1 victory against the Keyano Huskies.

Following a scoreless first half, Joshua Fitzpatrick put home the opening goal of the game in favour of the home side in the 48th minute.

While it was a temporary setback for the visiting Eagles, it didn't deter them on this day as goals two minutes apart from Abraham Jones and Dorian Jacobs pushed the visitors past their hosts.

That gave the Eagles four points from their weekend road trip up north following a 1-1 draw Friday night.

The Players of the Game were Fitzpatrick for the Huskies and Jones for the Eagles.
