The reigning ACAC Champions came back on Friday night ready to defend their title in the season opener against the Ambrose Lions.

Trojans Men's soccer faced up against some tough defensive competition from a fresh looking Ambrose squad during the first half, with both teams struggling to make any offensive efforts come to fruition. Both teams stayed locked at nil-nil, with only a couple of opportunities on either end of the pitch. 

The second half was another battle for both teams, as the Lions continued an impeccable defensive showing against the outside speed and inside strength of the Trojans offense. Thankfully, the Trojans managed to break through and score off a cheeky rebound and some second effort from #14, Senay Haile in the 55th minute. The fight continued for the next 35 minutes until Trojans new recruit, #21 Rinor Hoxha managed to put one past the Ambrose keeper in the 90th minute to make the final score 2-0
