Snakebitten Lions defeated by Rattlers

Both the Lions and Ratters came out fighting and played a very physical game, which resulted in over 10 fouls in the first half alone.  Amiel Cabayeo was on the wrong end of a couple physical plays which resulted in him picking up 2 yellow cards and an ejection within the first half of the game.  The Lions held their own early on, pushing the pace and dictating control early in the game, however the Rattlers were too much for a shorthanded Lions team in the end.  Late goals by Mohamed-Abdou Raouf and Colton Pachecho led Medicine Hat to a victory.  Matthew Stacey did all he could to keep his team in the game, making 14 saves.   Bismark Gonzalez and the aforementioned Stacey would be awarded Player of the Game recognition.  The Lions, now turn their focus to the Lethbridge Kodiaks as they play back at SAIT Field for their second game of the weekend.
