Gray Scores 2 Goals to lead Huskies to a Win over Olds Broncos

"In the immortal words of Pelé, 'Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.' This sentiment was embodied in a thrilling clash between Keyano College and Olds College in a heated futsal showdown.

Right from the whistle, Keyano applied quick pressure, showcasing their determination. With a couple of good chances in the opening minutes, they set the tempo for an intense encounter. However, it was Olds who struck first, capitalizing on a breakaway at 20:35 to take the lead and another goal at 18:04, courtesy of #7 Dilan Vargus and #9 Pedro Noschand.

Despite Keyano's attempts to regain control and dictate the pace, Olds consistently surprised them with swift counterattacks. Olds' quick breaks created ample space and opportunities in front of the net, keeping the Keyano defense on their toes.

As the chants of 'Let's go Husky!' echoed through the fieldhouse, it was evident that the large contingent of Husky fans present were fueling their team's momentum. With just 1:35 left in the first half, the Huskies responded, pulling one back with a goal from #21 Mario Morote, igniting hope for a comeback.

As the second half commenced, both teams intensified their efforts, leaving it all on the field. Olds came agonizingly close to extending their lead, hitting the goal post at the 23-minute mark, much to the relief of the Keyano faithful.

However, the Huskies refused to be denied. With unwavering determination, they launched a relentless assault on the Olds' defense. Goals from #11 William Ly and a pair from #8 Zach Gray turned the tide in Keyano's favour, showcasing their resilience and never-say-die attitude.
