Trojans come out on top again

The SAIT Trojans took on the top team in the north, the Keyano Huskies tonight in a rematch of last years epic showdown at the ACAC Championship tournament.

Tonight's game was a thriller, with both teams showing off their athletic prowess and high tier basketball skills, with the Trojans ultimately coming out on top with a narrow win of 2 points.

SAIT's 4th year top player, Marcus Masters lived up to his all-star status with a whopping 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, while Kuol Kuol followed narrowly behind with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and an impressive 6-6 on free throws.

Both teams found themselves in a fair bit of foul trouble- to be expected in a high intensity matchup, with Keyano committing 26 PF, and SAIT with 16.

The Huskies DJ Haynes was their standout player, nabbing himself 21 points and going 8-12 on 3 pointers.

Ultimately, the defending National Champions held back the Huskies to secure the win, and fans can look forward to future exciting faceoffs between the two teams.
