NWP Wolves host Ambrose Lions

Wolves host the Lions for one night in this last weekend of the regular season. NWP's #20 Emmanuel Iloka with two baskets and the Wolves tie up this point for point game. Lions take a 2 point lead and call a timeout. #20 again comes up for NWP with a 3 point shot, Wolves and Lions are tied 11-11. First quarter action ends with the Wolves ahead 19-14.

Second quarter and the Wolves take the lead 27-22 at 6:24. Wolves call a time out. Basket from Ambrose #6 Wisdom Sunday, and the Lions creep up on the Wolves. Technical foul is called on Ambrose #9 Hunter Snyder, and with Ambrose calls a time out. Score is 34-24 for NWP. Nice 3 point shot from NWP's #8 Chris Liwanag. NWP calls a timeout at 59 seconds, score is 39-27. Ambrose #9 Hunter Snyder get a 3 pointer. Buzzer goes at half time. Score 41-32 for NWP

Third quarters see the Wolves keep the lead over the Lions. NWP's #12 Mason Testawitch with a nice basket and the Wolves keep the lead 53-45 over Ambrose. Great effort from NWP's #8 Chris Lwianag who gets another basket for the Wolves. NWP's #5 Lucas Pedersen with a  basket for the Lions, they trail the Wolves 56-52 with 1:02 left in this quarter. Wolves keep the lead 60-54 at the end.

Fourth quarter opens with a nice 3 point shot from Ambrose #13 Ty Schenk. NWPs #7 Daniel Zandbergen with another basket, and Ambrose calls a time out Wolves lead 75-61. Huge 3 pointer from NWP's #3 Tony Kibonge. Wolves lead 80-64 at 3:45 and the Wolves call a time out. NWP's #08 Christian Liwanag with another 3 point shot and Ambrose calls a time out. Wolves lead 85-66 with 1:22 left. Wolves take it with a final score 87-66.
