Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves Basketball host the Lakeland College Rustlers for game 2 of the weekend

#7 Daniel Zandbergen gets 2 for the Wolves to start the game off. #13 Brandon Gillis to #20 Manny Iloka puts it down for the Wolves. #15 Jordan Simpson with the 3 for the Rustlers. Rustlers take an early lead 7-4. Tony Kibonge  #3 for the Wolves connects the 3 and goes back to back as the Wolves take a 12-9 lead. Rustlers #8 Allayassa Bray for 3. Rustlers lead the Wolves 22-17 after the first quarter. 

Controlling the first 3 minutes of the second quarter with authority, the Rustlers put up 10 points for a solid lead. #20 Manny Iloka with back-to-back 3's for the Wolves. Wolves call a timeout as they trail the Rustlers 26 – 37.  Wolves #8 Chris Liwanag with the step back and 2. Daniel Zandbergen with the steal, Wolves get another 2. Wolves clawing back 40-34 Rustlers at half-time.  

#9 Baha Salma with the 3 early in the third quarter. Wolves #20 Manny Iloka draws the foul and goes 2 – 2 at the line. #9 Baha Salma drops another 3. #3 Tony Kibonge swishes the 3 for the Wolves. #14 Skyler Broughton gets 1 of 2 a the line for the Wolves. #8 Chris Liwanag with the 3 for the Wolves. Wolves trail the Rustlers after 3 quarters of action. 48 Wolves, 61 Rustlers.

As the fourth quarter of the game continues to heat up, Wolves are battling hard to find a lead. Unable to find a lead the wolves fall to the Rustlers is 80 – 70.
