Lightning Hold On In Hard Fought Game Against Red Deer

In an electrifying basketball clash at Glenmore Christian Academy, the Red Deer Kings faced off against the St Mary's Lightning. The Lightning, leading 47-39 at halftime, secured a hard-fought victory with a final score of 103-96. The game held particular significance as the Lightning, reigning supreme in the south division, clashed with the Kings, currently holding the third position.

Throughout the game, the Lightning offense maintained its scorching pace, led by the dynamic duo of Brock Dewsbery and Caleb Jipp, the top two scorers in the ACAC. Dewsbery showcased his scoring prowess, amassing an impressive 38 points, while Jipp's sharpshooting yielded 30 points, including a remarkable 5-6 performance from beyond the arc. 

Eduardo Crespo emerged as the star of the game, dominating the boards with an astounding 16 rebounds and contributing 27 crucial points for Red Deer. His stellar performance earned him the coveted title of Player of the Game.

As the Lightning clinched the victory, they maintained their top spot in the south division.
