January 20, 2024: Men's Kodiaks win a nail biting game against the Clippers

In a quest for another victory, the Kodiaks faced off against the Clippers once again. The Clippers took an early lead, but the Kodiaks quickly caught up, even surpassing them. However, the Clippers, finding their rhythm, managed to tie the score, creating a neck-and-neck battle throughout the quarter. Kodiaks' #7, Filip Karanovic, displayed finesse with 6 points, while Clippers' #13, Oroma Bongomin, added 7 points. The first quarter concluded with a slim lead for the Kodiaks, holding a score of 19-17.

The Kodiaks maintained their lead for the majority of the second quarter, with the Clippers trailing closely behind. Through powerful plays, the Clippers not only caught up but also took the lead, resulting in a tied score. Clippers' #1, Francis Dogani, contributed 8 points, while Kodiaks' #11, Drayden Walburger, added 4 points. The quarter ended with the Clippers leading by a narrow margin, with a score of 39-38.

Entering the third quarter, the Kodiaks initially secured a 7-point lead, but the Clippers quickly retaliated, tying the score once again. Kodiaks' #13, Brendon Redford, showcased his skills with an impressive 9 points and scoring on his own rebounds. Clippers' #6, Asher Elstad, stepped up with 8 points. The intensity remained high, culminating in a close score of 58-57 for the Kodiaks as the quarter concluded.  

In the final quarter of the game, both teams fiercely fought to establish a lead. Kodiaks' #21, Declan Peterson, delivered a stellar performance, scoring a remarkable 15 points. The Kodiaks managed to pull ahead in the last few minutes, but the Clippers' #3, Riley Seaborn, scored 7 overall points, keeping the game tight. The contest reached a thrilling conclusion with the Kodiaks securing the win with a final score of 80-79.
