In the highly anticipated matchup between the Kodiaks and the Huskies, the Kodiaks wasted no time asserting their dominance in the first quarter. Led by #12 Rhett Lewis, who contributed 8 points, the Kodiaks controlled the pace of the game, preventing the Huskies from finding their rhythm. However, the Huskies were fueled by the impressive performance of #12 DJ Haynes scoring 6 points. The quarter concluded with the Kodiaks maintaining a lead, finishing 23-18.

Determined to turn the tide, the Huskies entered the second quarter with newfound energy and focus. #10 Keenan Miller's 5-point contribution, coupled with a strong team effort, allowed the Huskies to narrow the gap. After an intense quarter that had fans on the edge of their seats, the Huskies managed to cling to a narrow lead, concluding the third quarter with a score of 63-60 for the Huskies. 

As the final quarter unfolded, the Kodiaks entered the court with determination, seeking a comeback to snatch victory from the Huskies. Despite the Kodiaks' valiant efforts to close the gap, the Huskies held firm, maintaining a 10-point lead that proved insurmountable for the Kodiaks. The Huskies' strategic efforts were complemented by notable performances, including key contributions from #21 Nashton Hurst, who continued to impress with his scoring abilities. The Kodiaks, led by their own standout players, fought hard but found the Huskies to be a formidable opponent. As the clock ticked down, the Huskies' lead remained intact, and they emerged victorious with a final score of 96-79. The hard-fought battle showcased the determination and skill of both teams, providing fans with a riveting basketball spectacle.
