Vikings top Rattlers in back-and-forth affair

On November 18, 2023, the Medicine Hat Rattlers hosted the Augustana Vikings in the snake pit. 

The Augustana Vikings and the Medicine Hat College Rattlers collided on a Saturday night. The Vikings came to Medicine Hat with some fire behind them, winning the first quarter 27-24. In the second quarter, the Rattlers found a groove and took the lead, leaving the score 48-45 at the half. In the 3rd quarter, the court looked like it had all night, but the Rattlers held onto the lead 62-65. In the last quarter of the game, the Vikings found a way to get ahead of the Rattlers and ended the game coming out on top 95-88. 

The Vikings had a good night on the stats side of the game. #10 Ryan Degner of the Vikings led his team in points, putting up 24 points. #15 Jack Smilski went 4 for 6 from the floor, And #9 Cooper Nelson went 2 for 2 from the 3-point line. 

On the Rattler's side of the court, #5 Kieran Isnor led the team with 20 of their points, #23 Cooper Ward brought down 9 rebounds for the Rattlers, and #10 Ethan Robison helped his team by achieving 5 assists. 

The players of the game are #5 Kieran Isnor for the Rattlers and #10 Ryan Degner for the Augustana Vikings.
