MBB| Kodiaks take on Rustlers at home

The Rustlers wasted no time asserting their dominance, securing a commanding 11-point lead early in the game. The pressure on the Kodiaks became evident, prompting them to call a crucial timeout in an attempt to regroup and strategize. Rustlers' #9, Bahaeddin Salma, emerged as a standout performer in the first quarter with a 9-point contribution. The Kodiaks #3 Mason Hoffman, responded with 7 hard-fought points. The scoreboard at the end of the period reflected a significant lead for the Rustlers, with a score of 25-12.

The second quarter of the intense showdown between the Kodiaks and Rustlers began with the Rustlers maintaining their dominance, securing an impressive 15-point lead. The Kodiaks, however, were not willing to concede defeat easily, fighting hard to find their footing and chip away at the deficit. The Kodiaks' determination began to show results, prompting the Rustlers to call a timeout. The Kodiaks, strategic plays that saw them steadily closing the gap on their opponents. Kodiaks' #21, Declan Peterson, emerged as a key player in the second quarter, putting up an impressive 9 points. Rustlers' #13, Abdul Al-Tamimi, showcased his scoring prowess with 7 crucial points, contributing to the Rustlers' efforts to maintain their lead. The Kodiaks' comeback intensified, and by the end of the quarter, they had significantly closed the gap. The quarter came to an end with a score of 41-37 for the Rustlers 

As the third quarter unfolded, the Rustlers entered the court with a strategic plan, determined to maintain and extend their lead. The Kodiaks, however, continued to put up a valiant effort, trying hard to narrow the gap point by point. Kodiaks' #12, Rhett Lewis, showcased his scoring ability with two well-executed baskets, contributing to his team's offensive efforts. Nevertheless, the Rustlers responded decisively, with #7 Chance Samuel making two baskets. Despite the Kodiaks' persistent efforts, the Rustlers managed to open up the point differential once again, extending their lead and maintaining their dominance. As the third quarter came to a close, the scoreboard displayed a score of 69-51 in favour of the Rustlers. 

In the decisive final quarter, the Rustlers maintained their momentum, pressing ahead and forcing the Kodiaks to call a timeout as they faced an increasing point deficit. Rustlers' #10, Andre McFadden, emerged as a standout player, putting an impressive 10 points on the board and further solidifying his team's lead. Despite the Kodiaks' resilience, the Rustlers continued to widen the gap. As the clock ticked down, the Rustlers sealed the victory with a final score of 98-78.
