Rustlers win in comeback over Rattlers

Lakeland's men's basketball team are becoming the comeback kids of this ACAC season, with two absolute classics over the weekend.

The Rustlers hosted the Medicine Hat Rattlers in another cross division matchup. Against the Rattlers, Lakeland had a better start than the night before, leading by four points after the first half, before a rough 3rd quarter saw them give up 30 points and trail by nine heading into the 4th.

There, this comeback-crazy squad scored 31 points of their own, trading buckets in the final minutes to finish with a 95-93 victory. Abdul Al-Tamimi had 25 points, Chance Samuel had 18 and Andre McFadden added 19 off the bench, while Ethan Robinson and Kieran Isnor had 33 and 27 respectively.

This makes four wins in a row for the Rustlers, who are now 4-2. Next, a rivalry game against the Augustana Vikings on Friday.
