Lightning Cruise to Victory Over Kings
The Lightning and Kings game started out with the Lightning hitting bucket after bucket and ending the quarter 24 to 6. The Kings came alive in the second but the Lightning were firing on all cylinders. Quick sub changes and a team effort put the Lightning up by 24 to end the first half. Lightning #3 Caleb Jipp led his team with 11 points while #4 Pelumi Ajayi had 10 points. The Kings leaders were #17 Evan Castle, #9 Johnathan Barwegan and #8 Josh Fraser all with 5 points. The third quarter started and the Lightning continued their run, winning the third quarter 21 to 12. The Kings and Lightning both came alive in the fourth quarter of play each team exchanging 3 point shots on either ends of the court. The Lightning were no match for the Kings though as they had an explosive fourth quarter scoring 32 points to the Kings 19 points, ending the game 100 to 54.
