St. Mary's wins over Lethbridge Kodiaks

In the first quarter of the game between the Lightning and Kodiaks, it was a close and competitive start. Lightning's #7 Brock Dewsbery opened the game with the first point and had an impressive quarter, contributing 11 points to the team. On the Kodiak side, #7 Filip Karanovic  also played well, scoring eight points. However, Lightning managed to secure a small lead, forcing the Kodiaks to call a timeout. The first quarter concluded with the Lightning ahead, leading with a score of 27, while the Kodiaks had 24 points.

The second quarter of the game remained close. Lightning's #3 Caleb Jipp scored 6 points, and #4 Pelumi Ajayi added four points, contributing to their lead. The Kodiaks called multiple timeouts in an attempt to gain an advantage, but the score remained tight. At the end of the second quarter, the Kodiaks had a score of 41, while the Lightning extended their lead to 49, maintaining an 8-point advantage.

In the third quarter, Lightning continued to extend their lead, scoring multiple points and making three-point shots. Lightning #3 Caleb Jipp had an impressive performance, especially with his three-point shots. On the Kodiak side, #21 Declan Peterson contributed with four points for their team. Despite the Lightning's lead, the Kodiaks stayed determined. The third quarter ended with the Kodiaks scoring 61 points, while the Lightning maintained a lead with 66 points. 

The final quarter of the game, Kodiak's #7 Filip Karanovic started with a three-point shot and a basket, showing his determination. However, Lightning's #7 Brock Dewsbery had a great performance throughout the quarter, scoring nine points. This helped Lightning extend their lead to an 11-point advantage, prompting a timeout from the Kodiaks. Kodiaks #12 Rhett Lewis contributed with four points. Both teams made several free throws, but as the quarter went on, Lightning managed to maintain and even extend their lead. The game concluded with Lightning securing a victory with a score of 91, while the Kodiaks scored 76 points.
